August 15 2012 - The Kang Hyon Abalone Camp and was held at, "Hidden Pines Campground" in Fort Bragg California. These divers from L.A. travel north for the Big Red Abalone in Fort Bragg California. The Big Red Abalone are the largest species in the world. Do they taste good? In a word, "yes". But hold your breath... no tanks allowed when diving for, "The Big Red Abalone". This abalone weighed 4.92 pounds.
On the shores of Fort Bragg California, at 18701 N-HWY 1, one quarter mile from a beach near town are large full services RV sites and tent camps.
