Hidden Pines Campground Blog - Fort Bragg California - August 2010

July, in Fort Bragg, California, ended on a clear, warm, beach day. If you can, visit Hidden Pines Campground in August. Be our guest for a week. Enjoy a week at our beach, in your RV... 2010 is only $180 - Confirmed, prepaid reservations only... This is one way Sacramento and other warm towns can have an affordable vacation during the Hot August nights. I enjoyed the 4th of July and the last weekend on the beach, and at The Hidden Pines Campground. See ya when I see ya, sooner is better than later. Mike Jaeger, live from Fort Bragg California.

Welcome Randy and Allison Burke to Hidden Pines Campground

This next weekend we are pleased to hear that our good friends from Las Vegas will be coming to join us at the campground. Their tour is welcome as I remember their last visit well. We came upon some Elk on the beach and that was a rare treat. They travel in their motor home away from the hot desert to the scenic north coast of California where they visit with us before moving on to discover new places and to visit with other family and friends along the way... See ya when we see ya.

Salmon Fishing Season Remains Open Fort Bragg California

Good news for salmon fishing and campers. Fishermen are booking reservations at Hidden Pines Campground located only half a mile from Noyo Harbor, in Fort Bragg, California. The salmon fishing season remains open in 2010. Unlike 2008 and 2009 this year fishing and camping on the spectacular north coast of California will incude salmon, a real treat for northern California anglers. At Hidden Pines Campground, we are looking forward to adding this healthy treat to the menu. Abalone, scallops, salmon, lingcod, red snapper, and pacific halibut, all wild and living in the clear cool waters around and near to Noyo Harbor. No long boat rides hear as in some areas. Many of our sportsmen bring their boats and set up camp for a week or more,  receiving a great rate of $180 for an RV camp or $120 for a tent site. There are some small fees for extra vehicles, pets, boats, and extra guests so call ahead to make your plans. Good fishing to all my friends, and future friends also.  Mike Jaeger live 5-16-2010.
